What we do

My name is Grace Cheifetz, and I created the Diaper Brigade in August of 2021. Our mission is to collect diapers from within the community - through donations from families that have a surplus or through donations - and provide them to families in need. Lack of access to clean diapers has been shown to potentially contribute to child abuse and the availability of clean diapers can be a barrier to work.  

Our focus is to help families in our community that cannot afford diapers which are expensive.  A full day of clean diapers is required at child care facilities and struggling families often have to prioritize other basic needs over diapers. We serve families both inside our community as well as surrounding communities.
